Please join your neighbors in sending the message to Congress that we need meaningful action on climate change. We will be hoisting a banner that says, "Step It Up, Congress! Cut Carbon by 80% by 2050." This is a realistic goal, and it needs to happen now. They say, "You can't take it with you." But, we are perilously close to doing just that. We will take a picture of our gathering to upload to the Step It Up website, along with all the other events across the country, a virtual march on Washington. If you have any ideas for the event, or you would like to help out or be involved, please let us know. You may download a flyer to hand out or post in your favorite local venues. Think of the people you love. Think of the places you love. Think of the things you love to do. Then join us. The first thing you can do is signup, so we can tell the media and invited elected officials how many of you we are expecting. After that - spread the word! Let your friends and family know. Knowledge is power. Together we can make this a BIG event!! Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on the sand. Please note: Dogs are not allowed.
